Age limit

i am 27 so an age restriction does not effect me, but I feel this place seems like a great place for people to come and learn. With any place on the internet, a parent should know where their kid is visiting and check it out. As long as someone is not causing problems, I don't see a problem with them being here. Its great to see some younger people here trying to learn to be the best parents they can be to their little furbabies.

If someone starts causing trouble then they should be gone, but a whole group shouldn't be punished for the actions of one. I don't care what someone's age is, if they are here to cause trouble, they don't need to be here.

I am 20! I was 19 when i got Skoshi. I could say that i am way more grown then some people older than me. I went through my child stages and teenage stages and i grew out of them quick. I know I am still young but i dont act it.

As for the other youngsters, I was hired by Megan's mom to tutor her into adulthood. She was very immature at 12, but she's starting to come along at 14. In another couple years, she will be able to visit YT without my supervision.

........... This is why I like YT. A thread is started with someone just innocently venting a little frustration and ends with all of us learning so much about how great our youth is. I second Judy's sentiments as we all are impressed and proud of those of you who carry so much responsibility at such a young age - and carry it well too!

But then I have grown up with animals my whole life and have been responsible for them at a very young age. I guess it goes with the territory of always wanting to be a vet someday.

I want to be a vet to I'm not sure why but i have always just loved animals. And I've grown up with animals my whole life as well.

I remember one time when i was maybe around 10, and we were in the pet store. There was this sick-looking cat in its cage and i asked what was wrong with it. they said it was really old and its owner had just died a few weeks before. Needless to say I threw a fit crying and screaming b/c my mom wouldn't take the cat. I felt so bad for it its probobly gone now, but i still feel bad for it. Have your life long owner leave you and then live alone in a cage for 2 weeks?? How sad is that.

Pepe Mint was just saying that sometimes there is a particular poster who is very immature and disrespectful. Usually, those posters fade away if we don't get involved with their threads. (At least we hope they do).

I don't think the age of the members is a problem. The only problem I have noticed is that some of the adults make what I consider inappropriate remarks that have absolutely nothing to do with Yorkies or any other pets for that matter.

. Most of the Kids that are here Are great.. but some posters I wonder how old they really are.???? Meaning some of the childish things that are said.
