I'm not sure why but i have always just loved animals. And I've grown up with animals my whole life as well.
I remember one time when i was maybe around 10, and we were in the pet store. There was this sick-looking cat in its cage and i asked what was wrong with it. they said it was really old and its owner had just died a few weeks before. Needless to say I threw a fit crying and screaming b/c my mom wouldn't take the cat. I felt so bad for it
its probobly gone now, but i still feel bad for it. Have your life long owner leave you and then live alone in a cage for 2 weeks?? How sad is that.
