| can't post a picture twice is that new I have tried to repost a picture that I used for the Valentine ball and it would not let me because it said I posted it before. I was trying to show an example of a hair cut on a totally different thread. Is this a new rule because I know I have posted photos more than one time in the past.

| I saw that someone else posted that exact same problem recently. Try renaming the pic and posting it

you are right it is s dumb because it is not like I am trying to flood YT with my photos but once in a while a topic is raised on tread looking for pet stairs or pet bike baskets or like the thread about grooming ideas so I wanted to post a pic as an example. So now not only do we have to resize every photo we are now only allowed to use it once I have always loved yorkie talk but it is becoming very user unfriendly

| I am getting the feeling that YT does not want to encourage picture posting which is a shame since Facebook and Instragram and so forth encourage it.

| the only way I could do it was to copy the URL of the original pic I posted...when the message that you had already posted the pic comes up it has a link to the thread you originally posted it in....find your original pic, open it and copy and paste the URL from the top of the page into your new post. Kinda screwy but it worked.

| that is way to much trouble, I just tried it and it took me to the top of thread not the photo, so I would have to page through about 60 posts to find mine. LOL I am trying to spend less time on the computer not more

| Were you able to do it in the past? I don't understand what the point is of restricting posting the same pic again.

| yes you could do it before, I think perhaps the more photos on the web site the more bandwith or what every the computer term is for taking up to much space or overloading the server is, but I am not commuter person so I am just sort of guessing LOL I just realized I screwed up the title of the thread gotta go now, talk later

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I just tried to repost a pic as well and was restricted. It could be a new limitation that was added to a software update or something. I will check w/ Admin on this...

Hopefully it is something that can be fixed because there is no value to restricting pics. If it is to try and save server space, all that will happen is people will have to resize the pic again or alter it some way that will allow it be uploaded again resulting in the space being used anyway. The same pic can be used in multiple situations to make different points. Not allowing us to post pics whether or not they are dupes has no upside whatsoever.

| As I posted in another thread, f you rename the file it should work. Resizing it will not do it. I don't think there is an way a progam recognize it other than by file name.
