It basically omits messages from the people on your ignore list. A simple way to try it would be to read this thread all the way through, then put me on your ignore list. Then refresh the thread.

I wouldn't necessarily call it "too nosy" but I do think some threads won't make complete sense.....certainly not a reason to prevent someone who cannot keep their reply posts civil, respectful and non attacking in nature when they get frustrated from using it...that is what it is for.

If it keeps the posts civil and within YT guidelines then I am all for it!!

I hope I am not on anyone's ignore list. But, I really have not had a problem with anyone attacking me or being rude to me. So far, everyone has been really nice to me. This board has really helped me out a lot with my grief for my yorkie Lacey. I am glad I found this board. I have really been hooked.

I am so glad you have found some help here.

I wish I could say the same as my threads and posts seem to be a magnet for some who love to cause drama and are always trolling....I hope a few of the magnets decide to add me to their "Ignore List" as it would make my posting a lot easier, my threads wouldn't get closed all the time, and I could certainly have more fun instead of always defending myself or someone else from rude and merciless attacks just because of a different point of view. I know if they spent less time looking for my posts to attack them they would have more time to offer assistance to those in need and reply to some threads that do seem to get ignored.

I sure hope this works. I am keeping my fingers crossed....

On a more positive note, I will add that I have a lot of friends here and the majority of people are very respectful and civil and are open minded enough to accept differing viewpoints without "losing their cool". They are the people who really make YT the great forum it is. I love YT!!!

Well, that's good to know. I have had so many problems and questions about Ceeby, I have probably posted on every forum. I sometimes forget myself and can't even find them unless I read every forum.
