I want to post pictures in the Forum under "My Yorkie Pictures", but I have a Mac and don't know how to do this. Can you help???

I've been trying to add a 2nd photo album to my Profile Page. I set up the title and description OK but, when I tried to add images from my computer, all I was allowed appeared to be one single image! Apparently, I had exceeded the limit to my image space. I have one other album and I sized all my new images down to 600x600 pxls.

Is there really a limit on picture space?

Yes, there is a limit of 1MB of space for YorkieTalk members for albums in the profile area. YorkieTalk Donating Members are allowed more space. You are welcome to post your pictures as picture attachments in threads, as there are no limits to how many pictures you can post in threads. Thank you.

How is everyone able to do the "rotating" picture thing?

Avatars with rotating pictures are called animated avatars. They are made with a program that can produce animated GIF files. You can find a program on the Internet for that purpose, or ask a YorkieTalk member who specializes in avatars to help you with one.

The ifranview is a windows download and they don't have one for mac. DO you know any way I can resize my photo for publication?

well i'm not new to YT and i've never had problems posting so i'm really surprised that i'm having trouble now. i posted two pics of my dog bella and i posted those, but when i was going to do a couple more it didn't let me. i tried sending them one at a time to see the error message and it said i had exceeded the amount i think that's what it said so what's going on why won't it let me can someone help please!!!

You can try resizing the pictures first, then uploading it.

When it says you have exceeded the amount it means that the pictures are too big. You can have pretty big pictures on a regular thread, but the albums have a limited amount of space, so pictures need to be smaller. Don't forget, donating members have more album space than regular members, another advantage of donating!

Where did you intend to post them? I see them in the "My Yorkie Pictures" section.
