I sent you a pm..for your Avatar - that's the size you want but for uploading a picture a good size is about between 300-500 Pixels...I do mine at 400 x 600 pixels

I cannot post pictures because the IMG feature is set to OFF. If I did something wrong, please let me know. I have some pics that I would really like to post.

OK....got a question for my YT friends. I am having a problem with posting a picture with my profile and its a strange problem that I cannot figure out what is wrong. First of all, let me say that I have been a member YT for a couple of months....my username was/is rhondajones. I wanted to change my username from "rhondajones" to ''Buddy-licious" but YT will not let you change your user name....I had to set up a new account. So now I have a new account ....''Buddylicious". Posting pictures and changing pictures in my "old" account was so easy but with my new account....everytime I try to upload pictures I get an "UPLOAD FAILED" message. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I using the exact pictures from my old account so there should be no problem but there is. Please help!!!!!

OMG....after all the days of trying to post a picture ....it is suddenly just there!!!!! lol For days I could not figure out what was wrong.....I guess I will never know.

Theres several of us that make avatars - you need to layer and animate to have multiple pictures - I have a thread here http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...easy+animation that offers a little help

i dont know if im just being dumb or what. i went to the aviator and resized my picture but cant figure out after that on how to get the picture to the forum.

go to USER CP (on the blue bar running along the top of the site under where it welcomes you and says your name) and click edit avatar - then double click your picture to upload it from your computer and you should see it pop up if you do it right :) it MUST be no bigger than 75 x 75 pixels to upload though -

and amr333 - your picture is probably too large...there's a great program called 'easy pixResizer' that you can size your photos with -

I dont want to post them in the photo gallery section i just want to use them for attachtments in a post. how do i put them in attacktments?

When you post a message either scroll down and see if you see "manage attatchments" or click on go advanced, then you will see it. But if they are too big you will have to crop them and I use paint

:( I have tried for the last 3 hours to get pictures I even have down loaded the irvanview or what ever it is and that doesn't work either. I have some wonderful pictures that I would love to share. I have them in my alblum (misspelled see I can't even think )but I can't get them to go anywhere but there. It even tells me that they are thumbnail but it still tells me they are to big. Now what. I am pulling my hair out.

just save them in your pics on your computer and then when your going to post a message. go to manage attactments.

Photobucket is free and easy to use. after uploading your pics...click on edit...then resize...I choose 600X800 I think. Copy the direct link and paste it. Easy and free. You can have 1000 pics in your album for free.

my problem is I have a kodak and when I down loads it goes only to that and nothing else. So that is where all my pictures are at. I think I will just give up on it. When I go to browse it try to download all my pics and that I don't want. Oh well I will just give up. Thanks for your help.

Don't give up. Alot of us have Kodak but you need to right click on the picture and then click on 'save to' and when the window comes up there is a drop down window and save it on 'gif' . Now it is on 'my pictures on your compter so that when you go to 'manage attachments' on the post on YT which is below 'submit'(but do this before you submit)you click on brouse, the next step will be to click on 'upload' on the right top of window and once that comes up, you will see a icon at the very bottom that says close that window. Lots of words but once you do it a few times it won't be hard.
I had a heck of a time to start with too.

I think i have photo changed to Brandy the new puppy i am getting, I uploaded photos to my gallery, I want to make a slideshow for my posting, How do I do this???

I am trying to change photo but it didn't work. I do have more photos in my gallery... There is a photo there of my new puppy Brandy, and other photos of Bailey. (I am NOT a computer genious)

I know if you upload the photos you want to photobucket, you can make a slideshow and then post the url here and then members click on it to see. I don't know if I have ever seen a slide show posted??? Lots of Video. I'm not very good with the computer so maybe someone else can guide you in a better direction.
