My Cali is Very Sick -- Advice Please

oh no Jen !! I'd be freaking too ...she's sooooo tiny. I don't have any advise but want to send you all my postive thoughts and prayers...Poor little girl - I hope they can get her stable and rid of that awful cold/pnemonia....that's really scary to hear and I'm so sorry

Poor Cali. She is so tiny it may just take her longer to shake this cold.
Fingers crossed the vet can get her on the road to recovery.

She use to weigh 1 lb and 3 oz and now she is 1 lb and 1 oz. That may not seem like a lot but for a dog Cali's size, trust me it's a lot. I'm freaking out over here.

I just can't lose another baby. I never got over losing my Katie and I won't let it happen again!!

I'm so upset!! I can't leave until 3 p.m. because I have to help one of my attorneys prepare for court!! I have to wait 1 hour and a half before I can see my baby.

Here are a few pictures of Cali so you can see how tiny she is -- especially in the 4th picture of her with her daddy. She is just way too small to be fighting such a big cold. It's just sucking all the life from her little body. Please keep praying for her.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. It is NOT your fault.
You can't give your Yorkie pneumonia -- and you were already treating her for what you thought was wrong.

So, stop beating yourself up. You'll need your strength to get your baby well again.

I hope it is just allergies and not pneumonia like they think. I am not sure if humans and dogs are the same but I was diagnosed with pneumonia several times and when a lung specialists and he said that I never had pneumonia and when a person has an allergic reaction to something it looks the same on the xray as pneumonia does. Anyway, I hope she gets better soon. I know how scary it is for those tinies to lose even a couple ounces that they cant afford to lose in the first place.

oh god Jen this is horrible.. poor baby.. I hope everything turns out fine.... could it be a virus maybe and since she is so small it's harder for her to shake? a reaction to the meds? I will be sending prayers for quick recovery~

Oh Jen, I'm so sorry!!!! I just seen this. Its nothing you did, don't think that!!!!!!! You have a very good husband That was wonderful of him to take her right in.

I know these little ones can scare us. Tia used to do that sneeze thing (and sometimes still does) and mucus would fly out. But of course she has the cleft issue.

I wish I had advice for you, I really do. But I'm sending my prayers for Cali, that she will get better and get rid of this cold for good!!!

Maybe admitting her will do the trick. Maybe the IV and meds will kick in and beat it for good.

My fingers are crossed for her and I am sending prayers!!!
