| I'm so happy to hear that your baby will be home with you tonight. Hopefully she will have a fast recovery since she is back at her home with her family. Best of luck to you and your little Tink.

| We're home! Tink is sleeping in her crate right now. She's restless but seems OK. It was really hard to get her in the apartment inside her crate 'cause with her inside it I couldn't lift it very well. I got a board from the closet and slid the crate down it to get it off my chair. Hey - necessity is the mother of invention. Didn't seem to bother her and I was very careful. I have to give her the medicine every 4 hours so I'm gonna set two alarms so I don't whack it and forget to get up. I'm gonna put her crate on my nightstand next to my pillow so I can hear her if she fusses. Just like when she was a little baby and I slept with my hand inside the crate! I have to go back out to the car in a minute and get her bad with all the meds in it. She has some special food to eat too for a few days until she wants just kibble. The vet said her tummy is pretty raw from the infection so she shouldn't eat kibble by itself. I think it's rice and potatoes or something. I can't remember. Anyway, she looks pretty good. She needs a bath badly so maybe in a day or two I'll do that. I don't think I should bother her with it now. Her hair is badly matted. I don't know if even Cowboy Magic will get them out. Maybe it's time for that summer cut? Any ideas anyone. She isn't making any noises. She's just sleeping. She slept all the way home but she did make a few whining sounds. I'm soooo glad she's home. Now it really feels like she's gonna get better and it smells so much better at home too! LOL I'm gonna wash her frog while she's sleeping - Ewww, ick! |
