| well today Mickeys eyes look brighter, his incision looks clean. But I cant get him to eat, and with all the meds hes taking he needs to eat. he threw up every thing he ate yesterday and was throwing up during the night.I have offered him every thing I can think of, he refuses to eat and then I have no choice but to get his meds down him and on an empty tummy, and I hate that. Im going to call the vet and ask him what to do, we might have to put him on IV's .He looks so weak and I think most of it is because hes not eating, I keep giving him the nutrical, hes startting to get the shakes on and off.and im back to syringing water in him. |

| Surgery I'm not sure why your baby need surgery, but my Sparky had several surgery's for bladder stones and his incisions looked just like that. He survived all 4 of his surgerys. It will take a few days for him to feel better. My prayers are with. |

I get mine from the vet but I have been told that wal-mart sells a very similar product in the pet food aisle. I hope that you're able to get something down him soon. Poor Baby. Prayers for you and Mickey Forgot to add that dogs LOVE Rebound and will usually still lap it up even when they won't eat.

| So, he's still not eating much...Poor guy! Yogurt is good for their tummies, you might try some low-fat or non-fat yogurt.

| well with him being in so much pain and had been through so much, we decided to leave it alone, its healing nicely and no infection and every day it looks better and better.he may get a scar from it, but we feel with him being so sick and so bruised to just leave it alone.now that the swelling all down, its completly closed. and already scabing over nicely. |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | I would say yogurt too they have those yogurt drops you could try as well. what about cottage cheese? seems a little more nutricious than ice cream. i am so sorry you guys are going through this we pray for a speedy recovery.

| The icecream was just to get him to want to eat, he only tok a lick or two anyways. So anyways we just got home from the vets . He gave us a/d prescription diet, to syringe in him and some Endosorb suspension for his upset tummy so I gave him some of that and some more pedylite and he started eating some turkey breast. But thats a start. |

| well I gave him the tummy meds and he threw it all up. then before I got a chance to start the food that they gave to use to syring into his mouth, He started eating on his own. now hes giving kisses and useing the peepad. He keeps looking to the spot on the back of the couch in front of the window wanting me to put him up there. I had to tell him no.I asked him if he wanted to go out side, and slowly he walked to the door. so I carried him the rest of the way out and down the porch steps he pottyed again and come stood by me, like ok Im done , Im tried now. lol hes taking a nap now. |
