If she won't eat, you may have to force feed her with that syringe. It's so important that these tiny little beasts eat, even when they're sick. Put some of the chicken and rice in a blender or food processor with a little water and/or plain yogurt, if you have to force feed. I hope you don't have to, it's sucky, but it's better than the alternative.

I know you know first hand what is like to deal with a little one that doesn't want to eat!

I did just offer her some boiled rice with little bits of mushed chicken in it and a tiny bit of a scrambled egg mixed in and she ate maybe 1 tablespoon worth but it was more than I had seen her eat earlier so I was glad! I'm going to offer her some more food again in about an hour and see if she'll eat. I do have a syringe and will force feed her if she refuses to eat anything at all tonight. I did that once with a neighbors dog, a little 5 week old puppy who's mother had died. It certainly isn't fun at all but it did save it's life. Thank you for your prayers! YT family is the best! I have been such a wreck today and you all have been just wonderful!!

A tablespoon is actually a great amount of food for her size

That's awesome! I wouldn't rush her, it'll take a couple of hours for her to digest that. I pray she holds it down and that she'll continue eating like a champ!

Whatever has been going around is just nasty, and I hope to God that it stops soon.

My mind must be loosing it!

I meant teaspoon, she ate about a teaspoon worth of food but it was more than she had eaten before so that made me happy. She's kept it down so far and has been drinking the gatorade I've been offering her and even got up to get a little bit of water by herself a few minutes ago so I think that is a good sign. She's still very weak and tired but she's been through a lot today so I think that's to be expected.

Hope you can get some rest tonight!

Her getting water on her own is fantastic

If she continues drinking and eating well, the Gatorade should be tapered off. I'd feed her a little more food in a while and then see if you two can snuggle up and get some rest. Set your alarm for a couple of hours from now and just check on her and see if you can tempt her with some more grub

I am so tired, these past few weeks have been so draining. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have things that had to be done during the day time. I could just nap or something but being up almost all night and then working through a 17 hour day has left me about beat! I thought that her getting water on her own was a good sign! She just got some more about 30 seconds ago so I think I'm going to stop with the Gatorade unless she stops drinking again. I'm going to go heat up some food now and see if she'll eat anything and then I'll probably set my alarm for around 2:00 am and see if she feels like eating then...

Oh, I am so sorry for your little girl.I really do hope she will get better soon and be up and playfull. Hopefully she will put back the weight she lost. She's so tiny and some precious. My Boo-Boo had a ceasure last week and the vet kept him there for 2 nights as his heart stopped. Now, you wouldn't even think that he was dead for a few minutes.I was so worried but as I said he is so much better today. Yours will be the same.I will keep you in my prayers. Also Boo-Boo and Pheoebe want you to give Jewelina loads of kisses and hugs from them.

Not again, you just went through this with Jaden! Bobbi and I will be praying for you and miss Jewelina.

Bobbi is all better now, and we still don't know what was wrong (might be a bug too).

He gets surgery on Tues. (teeth pulling) and I am just stressing to pieces........lots of hugs to you girl. I know she will be just fine............but it hurts so much to see them sick
