I will give that a try, Jaden is like that but normally she just eats Canidae dry so I really haven't ever had to "not" mix anything for her. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, I'm afraid I am on the other side of the state, that would be one long grocery run for you! Thanks for the sweet thought though, I really appreciate it!

| It's great that she is eating yogurt. Yogurt or cottage cheese can help her replenish the flora inside her stomach that antibiotics are killing. Hope she is better. |

| Well, we just got back from the store and I heated up a little of the pumpkin pie filling and guess what? She ate it!! YAAAAH!! ![]() She seemed to really like it too and ate almost 2 1/2 teaspoons!! ![]() I was so proud of her! She seems a little less lethargic now and so far has kept down everything that she has ate today including her antibiotic! |

| what a great idea about the pumpkin pie filling. I would have never thought about that being good for them but i think i'll keep some on hand for emergencies. I wonder if it can be frozen in ice cube trays so that i can just take out what i need without wasting the whole can? I freeze chicken that way and then i have fresh chicken for the girls when they need it and the cube size is just perfect for one serving with their kibbles. ![]() So glad that Jewelina is feeling better again!! Keep us posted. HUGS! XOXOX .....Linda |

That is an awesome idea with the pumpkin I never would've thought about that! I don't see why it couldn't be done. My Nana used to freeze squash from her Garden and would thaw it and cook it and it was perfectly fine. I don't see why pumpkin would be any different

| Well, today has been a long day but went pretty well! Jewelina kept everything she ate down and ate a decent amount. I was happy with her. Her appetite isn't what it normally was but it is so much better than it was yesterday! She's been drinking water continually on her own and just sleeps a lot. I think that's a good thing though I like to sleep when I'm sick and normally it makes me feel better so I'm hoping it will do the same for her. She's only been up maybe 4 hours this entire day I wonder if that means she's going to be up all night So long as she's not vomitting or shaking though I'm happy with her. She has to take her next dosage of antibiotics this evening so pray that goes well and doesn't upset her tummy! |

Once she's back to normal, don't fret if she isn't too fond of returning to her kibble after all the foods. You can always mix a little yogurt, cottage cheese, pumpking or chicken in with her kibble. Big hugs and kisees from me and the girls to Jewelina, Jaden and of course, you too!!
