If she won't eat, you may have to force feed her with that syringe. It's so important that these tiny little beasts eat, even when they're sick. Put some of the chicken and rice in a blender or food processor with a little water and/or plain yogurt, if you have to force feed. I hope you don't have to, it's sucky, but it's better than the alternative.  Get well, little sweetie!!!!!!! |

I know you know first hand what is like to deal with a little one that doesn't want to eat!
I did just offer her some boiled rice with little bits of mushed chicken in it and a tiny bit of a scrambled egg mixed in and she ate maybe 1 tablespoon worth but it was more than I had seen her eat earlier so I was glad! I'm going to offer her some more food again in about an hour and see if she'll eat. I do have a syringe and will force feed her if she refuses to eat anything at all tonight. I did that once with a neighbors dog, a little 5 week old puppy who's mother had died. It certainly isn't fun at all but it did save it's life. Thank you for your prayers! YT family is the best! I have been such a wreck today and you all have been just wonderful!!
