Well, start out by calling them and letting them know what's going on. See if they offer to refund you, or pay the vet expenses. If they don't, then ask nicely. If they still refuse, bring up the health guarantee. I believe in starting out asking nicely and escalating the bitchiness ONLY when nice doesn't cut it But they at the very least should be notified.I know you're worried about your baby first and foremost, but don't wait too long to tell the breeder about this. Maybe you could post a question on the breeding board asking the best way to go about this, and all that

| So sorry to hear about Zoie. I hope she is comfortable and not in pain. Glad you found a vet that is helping. Ouuuuu...I hate to hear about doc's that just look at them and push em out the door. Sorry don't mean to offend anyone. |

| How devestating to hear such a thing about your baby. Dena, I pray that the meds will give her years of a loving life with you. Keep us informed. I know your baby's health comes first but I would certainly contact the last vet who let never picked it up and your breeder so she is aware of this. Hugs to your baby from us. |

| Oh Dena, I am soooo sorry to hear about this. I will pray for Zoie that she will have a longa nd healthy life. I hope there is something you can do for this. Meds, anything. But I do agree...you need to let her breeder know about this, so she doesn't cause anyone else this heartache. This can be passed on, and if her parents are bred again, this will happen again. I agree with being nice to the breeder, and hopefully she will offer you a refund or to pay your vet bills, or both. If not, do what you have to do to get her breeder to pay for the vet bill....UGH.... And as far as the 1st vet....you should take this up with them too. How can they not check for this. She has been coughing since you got her, her vet should have done more than de worm her. Its their job to figure out what is wrong. You should not have to be going thru this right now..... I am soooo sorry.... Let me know if you need anything! I am here for ya sweetie!

| I'm so sorry about little Zoie, Dena. Poor little thing! But I'm sure with the meds she'll be happy as can be and live a full life. My little "rockstar" sends lots of yorkie kisses to the both of you. I've got my fingers crossed for a positive visit to the radiologist.

| Thank you so much for all of your kind thoughts and prayers.. we made an appointment for the cardiologist for wednesday morning... She has started her meds. The vet told me to wait to find out what the cardiologist says before I tell the breeder. So I can have all the facts. Her breeder is such a sweet lady.. and we traded services. So I paid for Zoie with a website design. Her vet bill is already at $500 and we havn't even done anything. My boyfriend is going to call our old vet and demand for a refund. He actually wants to sue them for mal-practice.. but I'm pretty sure he can't.. so he'll call and rip them a new one for sure. |

| OMG Dena I'm so sorry to hear about this. I can imagine how angry, sad and crushed you must feel. Please let me know if you need to talk or if there's anything I can do, even if it's just listening to you talk. You, Zoie and Wookie will get through this. I'll say a little Prayer for baby Zoie. I think regardless of whether you traded services or not the breeder should be helping you, at least splitting the vet bills with you, and that vet should DEFINITELY refund you all you've spent on the crap that wasn't relevant.
