Oh Dena, I am soooo sorry to hear about this. I will pray for Zoie that she will have a longa nd healthy life. I hope there is something you can do for this. Meds, anything.
But I do agree...you need to let her breeder know about this, so she doesn't cause anyone else this heartache. This can be passed on, and if her parents are bred again, this will happen again.
I agree with being nice to the breeder, and hopefully she will offer you a refund or to pay your vet bills, or both. If not, do what you have to do to get her breeder to pay for the vet bill....UGH....
And as far as the 1st vet....you should take this up with them too. How can they not check for this. She has been coughing since you got her, her vet should have done more than de worm her. Its their job to figure out what is wrong. You should not have to be going thru this right now.....
