| No, she hasn't been tested. The breeder that she came from gave me a sheet of paper showing she had all her vaccinations UTD. But, knowing this breeder hasn't been honest about a whole lot......well. Her stools stink something awful. the littlest poo can stink up the whole kitchen. After I got her (right after x-mas) I dropped off a stool sample and the vet said she had coccidia. Is parvo something they can tell from the stool? Or is a blood test required. |

| Freyja arrived from the breeder with coccidia and was treated with metronidizol (sp.) It apparently is common in puppies living in litters. My mistake was not making sure they did a stool culture after treatment to make sure it was gone completely. We battled diarrhea off and on for about 4 mos. Now Freyja is fit as a fiddle. Just make sure that the vet does a repeat culture after treatment to make sure it is gone. Freyja and Patti |

I have absolutely no clue which test, I'm sorry I do know that it's VERY important to keep your baby hydrated, no matter what, and you're already doing thatPrayers still going out for you both!
