| Update on Chachi Chachi has been vomiting off and on since Sunday. He has had no other symptoms. He's been eating and pooping and playing, not acting sick at all. Then this morning he refused his canned food, so I took him to the vet. The vet could not find a thing wrong, he even took x rays to see if he had swallowed something. Nothing showed up, his temp was normal, no dehydration, gums look good. So it is still a mystery. He gave me amoxicillian incase he has some sort of bacteria, and told me not tio feed him for 24 hours to let his stomach settle down. The GOOD news is, and I expect you guys to welcome him into your club, he is now a whole man. Both testicals have finally descended. I feel I should have some sort of "rite of passage" celebration for him. LOL |

| I'm sorry Chachi is still not feeling well. It sure seems like a mystery and I hope he eats for you soon! As far as the celebration goes I'm still trying to think of something appropriate , beyond "yaaay Chachi, you're a man!"

| Hope he eats for you today. Perhaps he just picked up a bug just like us humans do from time to time. Congratulations on becoming a man Chachi. Maybe some day you will make some young lady very happy. |

| I'm glad he wasn't diagnosed with something terrible. This is what I do for mine if they are vomiting and/or throwing up...boil white rice and bonesless skinless chicken breast (no seasonings added). Then I get a cup of warm water and stir in a half a teaspoon of salt and a half a teaspoon of sugar. Break the chicken up and add some rice to it. Add about 3 tblspns of the water mixture. This ALWAYS makes mine feel better. I do this for about 3-4 feedings (the one cup of water will be enough for this many feedings) and then they are completely fine. P.S. I know vets say skip feeding for 24 hours, but sometimes I think they aren't taking into consideration the size of the dog. I, personally, won't let mine go that long without food. Please let us know how he is doing in a little bit. |
