I am SOOOOOOOO SORRY for your loss..OMG you have brought me to tears!!! This must be terribly hard for you but I want you to you I do not blame you at all...things like this happen!! Dogs are like children and get into anything and everything...and accidents happen every day. Please accept my condolences as I can not imagine nor want to imagine anything happening to my babies. I lost my cocker at Christmas time and my God that was one of the hardest times of my life. I still bawl like a baby when I go to his grave...always loved and NEVER forgotten...again Im so sorry for your loss..

oh no , I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your baby.
They do get into things that can hurt them. I know from experience. I am sure you did everything you could for your baby.

I am sorry about the scolding approach that you received. It isn't the best thing to do when someone is asking for advice.

Thank you guys for being so sweet. The last couple of weeks have been horrible. It broke my heart not to post on here about him...but now you all know why, and you know the end to his sad little story.

As I said before, nothing is a surprise to Christ though, and in this I try to be content...it is hard, but in the end, it is all ok.

Oh, I am so so sorry for your terrible loss. My heart aches for you. It's so obvious how much you loved little Straszney!! Thank you for updating us, I too had been thinking of you and your little one and was hoping he was okay. Take care and I wish you all the best.

I am so sorry for the way things turned out. You must have loved him very much to be able to make the decision to end his suffering. I'm glad he's free from pain and my prayers are with you that you might find comfort in the memories you shared.

Every one that has shared in this story has learned to be even more careful with their babies. You may have helped save lives you don't even know about yet. There is a plan, we can not control what is going to happen in our lives. I am very sorry for your loss and I know how heart breaking loosing something so special is. Know that the pain will get better in time,but there will always be a piece of your heart missing ,where your baby now lives. Thanks for sharing your story with all of us I am sure it was very hard to do.

I was also brought to tears reading this...I'm so sorry for your loss. You did everything you could, and you made some very tough decisions - you were very strong for your baby....big hugs! I have definitely learned from this!

I am so sorry that this happened! I know that this must have been one of the most difficult decisions you have ever had to make, and you did the right thing. I am so sorry it seemed as though we were scolding you. I know you did everything you could, and at least for me if I seemed scolding it is because I was panicked for you. You and your baby our in my prayers!

Your boy was very fortunate to have had you in his life. I'm sure you brought eachother much happiness. I hope each day finds your heart a little lighter and each day seems a little brighter. OMG POOR BABY !!! I'm so sorry he didn't make it....and in defense of the posts about getting to the vet - they aren't personal !! WE have to say that because it's sometimes the only thing that can save a dog - so in this case - take it for what it is - someone who cares enough to respond to these threads.....We never want to see this

but unfortunately - it happens far too often and is just heartbreaking for all involved..

I'm just so sorry about your little guy - my Chanel ate one of my husbands pills once and it scared me so bad that I rushed her to the vet and they gave her charcoal ...she was fine but I do know how urgent emergency care is in these cases....

My heart goes out to you.....and may he Rest in Peace flying with the Angels.
