I am balling crying as I am reading this.

I cannot begin to imagine the pain that you are going through right now. What an extremely difficult decision you had to make. Just remember that you gave "Yorkie" the best life that he could have during his short time on earth.

My heart goes out to you,I am so sorry that there was no alternative for your baby.I know he is playing now and never tires,he will be waiting at the Bridge for the time of your reunion.

I am so sorry to hear about your yorkie. I totally understand what you are going thru, i had to put our "little one" to sleep yesterday and though she was only 10 days old, it was very painful to have to make that decision. Our babies are in a better place and i hope you can soon get over your loss.

I just saw this thread and read through all of it and I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes.

I'm so sorry for the heartbreak you are going through and that your little "Yorkie" didn't get to be healthy and grow up. You sound like a wonderful mom!

I want to thank every one who wrote in, I have cried reading these. I am so grateful their are people in the world who care. I have realzed that my Yorkie is in the best place for him and in time I will see him again.

I am very sorry about your yorkie. My 7 month old yorkie was put down on Sunday. I am glad to hear that your vet was compassionate. I was at the emergency clinic and the vet that actually put her down was not and it is haunting me. It is so hard to let these little ones go, but it is not fair to put them through pain and suffering...especially if the prognosis is bleak like for my Wylie. I am truly empathetic as we are going through the same pain at my house! Today is better than yesterday and tomorrow will be better than today....sorry for your loss.....
