I went through a similar situation a few weeks back. I think Gidget fell off our porch and I found her lying there limp, bleeding from the nose and mouth. Completely out of it. I thought she was dying! I rushed her to the ER vet, I was histarical! I thought she was dying in my arms. i just kept telling her to hold on! Tears were steaming down my face! When I got her there they took her to the back and did X-Rays. There were no broken bones. Just sore, and Lots of shock. They sent her home the next morning, she was not her self at all! It really took her a few days 3-4 to get back to herself. She was even having trouble holding up her head. I just made sure she had a confined area to sleep and rest, that way she didn't over do herself. I also gave her nutrical when she looked weak, just a little on the end of my finger to keep her sugars up. And I gave her wet food, so it would be easier to eat than hard food. She is doing fine now. Playful pup again! If there is anything that I can do for you please let me know, just send me a PM. I will be on here most of the day tomorrow. If you have any questions just send me a pm. Good luck, and thank God this wasn't worse! p.s. - please don't feel like this is your fault. These things happen all the time. You are a good mom for caring so much!

| If you want a 2nd opinion, try to find a vet that does diagnostic testing. We have a new one here in our area and I hear they are great - little more expensive but I believe you get what you pay for. I agree - Nutrical, little sips of water, try a little food now & then, wake her up every hour or so to make sure she doesn't have a concussion, keep her comfortable and confined. Good luck and keep us informed as to how she's doing. Is she any different this morning?

| Hi you guys !!! Thank you for all your well wishes ((HUGS)) She is eating this morning....and she has pooed and peed ( all normal ) - she walks a few steps then drops her butt on the floor to rest I think. She is walking hunched back - I think she is really sore........... super tired, can't even keep her head up long. But I layed down with her and she is super cuddley , and wants to be with me, so that is good. Thank you all so much for all your care and concern - and as many others before me have said, this board is a fantastic place with many caring people. I am so lucky to be a part of this community ! I hope I can be there for all of you and your furbabies as you have been for me and Reese. Many hugs !! Thank you once again ! I will keep you updated |

| That is so awful to have happened but you shouldn't beat yourself up about it. You baby is going to be fine and she is a very lucky girl to have a mommy who loves her and cares for her as much as you do. Good luck to your sweet little girl and Nikko and I send her lots of hugs and kisses.
