| small update Hi All, I will post a more detailed update later as I am too mentally exhausted to go into details. Thumper still needs your prayers. He has gotten worse and is staying overnight in the hospital. The theory right now is pancrititis after viewing the ultrasound and bloodwork. He was positive for a Snap test and the SMDA was increased. They are running a multitude of tests while he is there end hoping to find answers. Right now its a guess and trying to take one issue at a time as it seems he has multiple issues going on. Since his diarrhea was yellow they are running some more tests once called a PLE and some others. Another issue is his spleen as it is enlarged and there is a small nodule on it. The vet isn't too concerned about the nodule at the moment as all other blood work does not point to lymphoma but she will monitor it. The pancreas is more concern for her. I am all over the place but Thumper is in the best place possible get the best treatment. I trust my vet and know she has his best interests. She has no problem being aggressive if necessary but also does not want to cause him undue stress. She said he is fine tonight just laying there in the cage and very sad. I saw him when I went to pick up Bella and gave him lots of hugs and kisses. He was happy to see me. On the other news Bella did great with her dental. She is very lethargic and not her self yet due to the anesthesia. I have the foster dog crated as he wants to play with Bella. I will be finding a new foster home for him as Thumper needs a calm free house and Petey loves to play and is too much for him. It breaks my heart to do this but Thumper needs to come first. I have to work tomorrow and am not happy about it. Bella and Thumper are bonded so it will be a bad day for her. I expect her not to be herself. I am all over the place and need to take it all in. This is where I hate being single and wish I had someone to lean on in these situations. I feel overwhelmed and can't help but think I will miss something important. Thanks for listening

| I am sorry to hear that you are still in that horrible state of "limbo" where there is no clear, single answer to make things right. I also know how hard it must be to have Bella away from Thumper for now. My boys are always very concerned when they are separated for even a small amount of time. Please try to rest tonight, and take care of yourself too! It is important to all of your dear companions that you are able to take care of them, and you will not be able to do that if you become too stressed and/or exhausted. Best wishes for things to start to break your way, and know that there are others here keeping you and Thumper in their thoughts. (((hugs)))

| I am sorry to hear that Thumper is in vet hospital, as you say, this is the best place he can be. When I had multiple dogs and one had to stay at the vet for days, the other one would pine for her sister, they were very bonded. I hope they find what is wrong quickly, get him on the right meds and he can come home. Stay strong for Bella, she's confused, missing her brother, she needs your support. Thumper is in my prayers as you are, to give you strength to get through this (((hugs)))

| Hi All, Thank you for all your prayers and support. I promise to write a new blog this weekend updating on Thumper. He is home and about 80% better. However he seems to have a few issues we need to explore to get him treated properly. Its been a crazy week and just have not had the opportunity to process and write everything down. Again your support means the world to me at times like this week.
