I am sorry to hear that you are still in that horrible state of "limbo" where there is no clear, single answer to make things right. I also know how hard it must be to have Bella away from Thumper for now. My boys are always very concerned when they are separated for even a small amount of time.
Please try to rest tonight, and take care of yourself too! It is important to all of your dear companions that you are able to take care of them, and you will not be able to do that if you become too stressed and/or exhausted.
