Here is a list of possible side effects from Atopica (from the prescribing information). Lethargy is one of them. I'd ask the vet, just to be sure. If it's mild, maybe it will be okay. Quote:

| What is the weight of your dog, and what is the dosage of Atopica? Is it a daily dosage? Will it be daily for 30 days and then tapered off, or will your vet see her first to make a determination as to whether it is working? At any rate, I would still report the tiredness to the vet to see what they think. |

| Here is a link to fuller prescribing information: https://www.drugs.com/vet/atopica.html . Although some of the side effects sound horrible, keep in mind that they are only observed in a small percentage of dogs. Lethargy (lack of energy and enthusiasm), for instance, was only observed in 2% of the dogs in the initial study. |

After 30 days, I would report your dog's progress to the vet. If her symptoms have improved, the vet might consider reducing the dosage or going to an every-other-day or twice a week dosage. That might help with side effects. | |
