See video! My 2 year old yorkie has been displaying abnormal behaviors... She will move her head around constantly as if something is bothering her head or neck. She will also let out little whines, bite at her back side and bottom, jump up and take off running. Out of the 2 years i've had her, she's only had a handful of these spells. The "spells" last a day or two. See video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MM8UONbnwOM

I can't tell from the video but is she biting at the air at all when doing this episode ? If yes then she needs to be checked out for a Chiari malformation. Other things it could be are Anal glands, her pony may be pulling a hair. It could be other things but those are the things that come to mind.If you look up Chiari you will probably scare the he!! out of yourself but Chiari comes in all diff forms & severities & a dog can live a long & happy life with proper treatment & not all require surgery. Welcome to YT !

No she's just biting at her back. It doesn't seem like anything too serious because it doesn't last very long and it's only happened a handful of times, it would just be nice to figure it out. Thank you for your help!

Have you checked her Anal Glands ? as they may be full. Also did she just get groomed & trimmed ? if yes then it could be that her hair is just too short on her bum or they could have nicked her, OR she may have a tiny piece of poo stuck to her bum.
