| Oh come on Gemy. You have RA and I BET you go to a doctor. I have chronic pain as well. I take myself to a doctor. I ALSO take my pups when they are sick. There was NO excuse for this animal to be left in such a state. No...you don't have to agree with euthanasia...but you sure as heck should at least try to get a diagnosis and alleviate suffering in some way. I would NEVER let an animal suffer and not at LEAST take it to a vet. And, I can assure you I would be on the phone as I said above EVEN IF the authorities did nothing, I would NEVER sit and watch someone treat an animal that way. You hesitated...that should have been your first clue. You are actually the only one on this thread besides the OP that even thought for a second to OK this behavior of that horrid dog owner.

| YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Oh come on Linda. I never condoned what I thought this woman did. I was musing and asking larger questions. And yes Linda I do go to the doctor but some pain is not able to be relieved...... I said at least twice this dog should not have been left to die in pain!

| No, some pain cannot be relieved. I also live with chronic pain. Forget the larger question...the deal is that this poor pup was neglected and left to suffer and die. I still don't know why this was even posted here.

| I live with pain so severe that at time I wish someone would put me out of my misery. There's no excuse for allowing an animal to die such a dreadful death. This isn't minor creaky joints from arthritis. The dog suffered horribly before death.
