| Yes, she will probably be in pain, and have to adjust to having fewer teeth. I would check with the vet about the Tramadol--they might want you to use a different pain killer, and there is a possibility that the Tramadol might have expired. It's never good to medicate a dog on your own. It's always best to check with the vet before medicating your dog. |

| I'm not an expert at these little guys, but I took tramadol (I have Multiple Sclerosis) for facial pain- not teeth- and it burned my esophagus. I mean burned it, and felt like I was swallowing glass. I've taken it before, and I took it with food. Unfortunately, those things happen. I'd be careful were I you, I was told that med does that all the time. I can't even imagine what a woofers would feel like if that happened. I was down for almost 6 days. |

Were these adult teeth or baby teeth? If baby teeth, not so bad. My neighbor's 1 year tiny girl had 2 full rows of baby teeth removed with no problems.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Pain Medicine My Porsche, age 12, had 16 teeth pulled about a month ago. The vet gave a pain shot during the procedure that lasted 24 hours. For pain after that, he gave us Metacam to be administered once daily. She did great, better than I would have done after having 16 teeth pulled.

| I would get metacam rather than tramadol, or use both.
