| I have seen reactions like this to flea meds and flea collars. My sister once rescued a kitten off the street and someone had put a flea collar on it. The kitten was too young for a collar and was having a very bad reaction when they found it. I'm just throwing this out there...If you are unsure of any meds. that this pup might have been on before you brought him home then please be careful. I would wait 30 days from the day you got him to give flea or heartworm unless you really know when he last had it.

WOW, that is good news! You say he is still a bit wobbly so keep an eye on him. What did the vet say if you called him? Praying he is going to be OK now and that it was just a reaction to the meds. :-))

Do a google search of all of the possible side effects that his meds can cause. Side effects are rare but they do happen. It could even be a reaction to prednisone. Glad he is doing better, continued healing Lincoln!

I'm so thrilled to read that Lincoln is doing better. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your mom. I lost my mom when I was close to twenty, and it still hurts without her at the age of fifty eight. Despite losing her so early, my mom's love has helped to guide and sustain me, and her love is still a very powerful force in my life. I hope you stick around YT. We care are are here to help.

He's going back to the vets on Friday once I get paid to get a check up and make sure he's all better (that and we need to fix this ear infection still but with something safer!)

Wow! What a saga! First, I am so sorry to hear that you have recently lost your mom. It is incredibly sad to lose one's parents--makes one feel like an orphan regardless of age. You are a good child to try to take on Lincoln, and I am extremely glad to hear that things are looking better for him. I hope that you can get him healthy and enjoy comforting each other in the months ahead.
