Could someone please give me the numbers to some rescues? I'd least like to try and call.

Thank you for the sad update, we were so hopeful yesterday. You did all you could and are still caring for him as best you are able. The decision will be so hard to make but I pray it will be the right one for your baby.
Take heart that you took him in and gave him a loving and stable home after the devastating passing of your mom. Deepest condolences for the loss of your dear mom. This is such a stressful time for you. May God give you peace and strength to cope with all that is happening right now.

Just seen the request for rescues, I am sure you will get some help here. Thank you for considering this option.

You are to be commended young lady in the midst of your grief (if I understand correctly your mother just passed last week), and you took her dog in to live with you. This is a very lovely way to honor your Mothers' memory.

You certainly and Lincoln will have my prayers.

As a matter of interest did Lincoln have blood tests done? I am struck by what I believe your Mom had sepsis of the blood, and now Lincoln is showing neurological symptoms and one factor could be a blood borne infection......

I am glad that you are considering a rescue, and I am sure you have by now received a few pm's of rescues to consider.

Oh my, I am so very sorry for your loss of your mother and now this. I am praying you can find a rescue that can help him get better. I know you have done all you can for him and I know your heart is breaking as he was a link to your mother. I too admire you for trying so hard. So many at such a young age would not of. Praying for peace for you and healing for Lincoln.

YHR does not have any foster openings in NC at this time.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother, then lil Lincoln on top of all this. I am over whelmed over today's news about the loss of usage in his front legs. A rescue is the best solution for the sake of his little life. This has to be so very over whelming for you. I am keeping lil Lincoln in my prayers that a rescue ctr. will take him and keeping you in my thought and prayers to give you strength to help you through all this.

I have wonderful news! Lincoln and I woke up today and he can walk! I can't believe. On my god. He's okay! It really must have been the antibiotics!

First of all I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. You have really been through a lot! Bless you for taking this pup in and trying to at least do the right thing. I haven't been on here for a few days but wanted to come back to see how your boy was doing only to learn more sad news. I just read the post about your boy walking today. It gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. I will keep you and your pup in my prayers. Hoping that he recovers 110%.

I can't believe this really omg, I'm crying. Yesterday he was getting worse and it seemed so unlikely by then that it was a reaction to the medicine and the vet then suspected it could be a neurologic problem since he was very quickly losing control of his muscles. We gave him lots of fluids and as much food as he wanted yesterday and when we won't up today... He's 75% back to normal. Sleepy and still kinda wobbly but his legs are in fact functioning.
