| I am just now seeing this and just want to add my prayers to all the rest for little Piper to recover. You must be so scared, not knowing what the cause is. I hope there is more improvement tomorrow.

| Prayers for Piper and I agree about Linda, she unselfishly gives her support when asked about health problems with these little ones. Hope things are well with Piper this morning and so glad she has you for an angel. |

| Hoping Piper is feeling better today when you see her and will be waiting for your update after the visit. Tell her how strong and courageous she's being, how she's getting better and better now and is going to get through this when you see her as she will be able to read the courage that comes from saying courageous words. And give that little one a hug and kiss from us.

| I've been out of pocket all Friday & yesterday babysitting my grandkids and I'm just now seeing these updates...so sorry to see that Piper took a turn for the worse, but then was so happy to see that she improved. She is such a lucky girl that you were op top of this and didn't wait to seek treatment! Linda's guidance in this may have helped...it has for me many, many times! We are all pulling and praying for your little one. |

| Latest update on Piper She is not feeling well this morning. Her Amonia levels are up and her blood sugar is very low. They are going to put in a feeding tube in her nose to give her more meds to help with her blood sugar .She was not to perky this morning. Waiting to see if the feeding tube stuff is helping. We get one thing fixed, another pops up. Dr. Thinks it may be microvascular dysplasia. |

| I don't think it matters to be honest. She is in liver failure and that could be any number of things. Until they can stablize her there won't be much they can do in terms of testing. Praying for Piper...I hate this for her and for her parents.

| Yes, that's why I said when she's better. Right now, she's got to concentrate on getting better and that's all that matters but then, is she's got LS bad enough to cause failure, OP needs to know it.

| I put that badly - realize the LS doesn't directly cause the failure but when she does get better, as she's been in failure, OP likely needs to know if she LS surgery needs to be done to keep all the other bad things happening down the road that LS can lead to vs. educated guessing.

| Just reading this thread. My heart goes out to Piper and her family. I pray the vets are able to repair whatever damage has been done. Be strong little girl.

| I'm sure she is in the best hands. I'm also sure that if they suspect MVD that they must be treating it the same as they would a shunt. These little ones are so terribly hard to treat when they are tiny and sick and the liver is involved. Sending prayers.... |
