As to what is happening there....you are overwhelmed and have bitten off more than you can chew. Three litters of puppies is a handful...and on top of it you are dealing with a deadly illness! I get it...I really do. One thing I have learned in rescue is that I cannot save them all. Yes, I have watched pups die in shelters that I had no room for and could not find a rescue to take; but to take in more than I can physically, financially and emotionally care for is not doing anyone any favors. Please, please get that puppy to someone who can help him. Either that, or take him to a vet and euthanize him...to hold him while he suffers and then dies is just not fair. :( |
No animal should have to go through this disease. It's horrible, and I know first hand what it's like to have a puppy with it. To have 3 litters of pups, as well as adult dogs, all exposed to this deadly disease, and to refuse to take an extremely ill pup to the vet is just wrong in my opinion. You have been offered advice and yet you don't take it, so why did you ask for it?? No more puppies should have to die because you refuse to get them the care they need. From your first post, you have at least 8 dogs in your house, actually more, considering you have litters and we don't know how many are in each litter (3 litters, 3 moms, and older dog and a 4 month old foster). That's a lot to take on.... |
How is the puppy this morning? What is going on? Just reading through this thread makes me want to cry. :( |
