This is for sure about you too! Both you and Buster together are going through this! I struggled with my emotions each and every day Zoey and I went through this! You will make Busters time happy. Why? Because you love him. In your own quiet way you will see and find some answers to make his time here special on earth. Why? Because that is who you are. I would like for you to remember dogs joys are so very simple. A special pet, a lap they didn't get to lay on before, a freedom off lead. More time with there Mom's. A lick of yogurt, or ice cream. Massge, Tellingtons Touch, you have it with-in you to make this time special. Your Buster only wants you! To be there for him. And that you are already doing! I ache for your heartache, and for Busters fight. It is your fight too. God Bless you for doing all you can for him! |

When I posted this morning, Buster seemed lethargic and his eyes looked dull. It made me feel so sad. The happy news for now is that Buster seems so much better and has his spark back. He has been doing all his favorite things like chewing and looking out the window and barking at anyone that dares walk past on the sidewalk. I even took him for a walk. Hopefully the rest of the week will be good days for the little guy. |
Lisa, I am praying for Buster and you that there will be many happy moments to share. Glad to hear he tolerated his first round of chemo well and that he was more himself this afternoon. |
You are going to have good days and bad days. I don't know what's worse...losing them suddenly or knowing. I kind of think it is better for it to be a bit slower so you have time for some special moments....and yes, it is the little things that make them happy. Buster is and will be, happy with you until his final moment on earth...and honestly, Lisa, as much as it will hurt you, you will know in your heart that he was in a good place when he left and that you gave him so very much. If not for you, who knows where he would be .. his owners could not even take him for walks. He is so lucky to have found you and so lucky to be so loved! |
dog Lisa, I will pray for Buster. May the Lord send His healing power all over this dog and use the drugs to make him healthy soon. May Buster feel comfort as he goes through all his treatments and come through strong. Bless Lisa for caring for him and loving him. The Lord knows when a sparrow falls so He knows what Buster is going through and He, his creator will carry Buster through this trial. |
Thinking of you and Buster this morning, continued prayers of healing thoughts for your little man. |

Special moments... started thinking about this and wanted to share last night's moment. Buster loves getting his back scratched and also loves a back massage. So, here he is last night sitting on my lap getting one. :) He is such a sweetheart. And doesn't he look relaxed? Attachment 392339 I also want to thank everyone for their kind comments. YT is the greatest. |
My heart hurts reading your posts, but it also swells because of the love you have for Buster. I understand your roller coaster of emotions, as I'm sure many here do who have cared for a little one who has been ill. Your love and bond intensify, and although it is a very difficult time, there are so many special moments. Cherish these times with Buster, and know that we care so much. I hope you and Buster have many more good days than bad. Buster has known such devotion and love from you, and he loves you and his life. |

Buster looks sweet and happy. I'm sure he knows what a lucky guy he is to have all the love and kindness showered on him by you, Lisa. He really doesn't know what is ahead for him, he just stays "in the moment". For now he can just enjoy the good days, and I pray there will be many many good days for both of you. |
