So happy to see an update Shellie, I was wondering all day "how's Cassie doing"? My prayers remain with you and yours. We need to plump this little girl up some. I hope you find something that she really enjoys eating. She is definitely a mommy's girl. So sorry to hear your dad's diagnosis...nothing can be easy, huh? Sending a cyber hug...stay strong.

I am most happy about Cassie and yourself being back together. So sorry to hear about yD's diagnosis. This disease has its ups and downs for sure. What in life doesn't?? One thing that you should remember during these days ahead with him, is: whatever he says, doesn't say, remember or not remember, is NOT yD, it IS the disease. Just a thought here - sometimes looking through old photos albums is a good thing, as he should remember that time. If you wished to so, do you have an Alzheimer's Association meeting close to you that you could join, and share your experiences and learn what others have gone through/going through and how they dealt/dealing with it? I work with many Alzheimer's and Dementia residents in my job. They are the most gracious people I have ever met!!! Going to work is the best part of my day

I feel blessed to be part of their lives and make a difference in their day. All the very best to you and yours.

Just to clarify 'yD' means your dad. It was just a natural reaction for me to type 'your dad'. This is what I use in reports to loved one on my visits. Cheers!

Shellie, you have been such a wonderful caregiver to Cassie, to Muffin, and to your dad. You have some challenges ahead, with Cassie and dad, and my prayers are with you that you are able to forge ahead with strength, but also that you are able to take care of yourself.

I hope you will find support along the way.

Took her down because she was acting a little like a wet noodle and worried she was lethargic after talking with a breeder who said she should be acting much different by now. But she does not know my little girl. The Doc took her in the back and said she was as frisky as she has seen her in a long time. Scooted across the table, lungs perfect, O2 96% blood fine, was over 2lbs (I think 2lbs 1 ounce at night.) Shellie you know your baby girl better than anyone, she's still improving and for this I am grateful as well. Just keep doing what you're doing, Cassie you keep doing what you're doing as well.
