I am most happy about Cassie and yourself being back together. So sorry to hear about yD's diagnosis. This disease has its ups and downs for sure. What in life doesn't?? One thing that you should remember during these days ahead with him, is: whatever he says, doesn't say, remember or not remember, is NOT yD, it IS the disease. Just a thought here - sometimes looking through old photos albums is a good thing, as he should remember that time. If you wished to so, do you have an Alzheimer's Association meeting close to you that you could join, and share your experiences and learn what others have gone through/going through and how they dealt/dealing with it? I work with many Alzheimer's and Dementia residents in my job. They are the most gracious people I have ever met!!! Going to work is the best part of my day I feel blessed to be part of their lives and make a difference in their day. All the very best to you and yours.
