| Too sweet! I'm glad Pickles has his brother protector, a dad to calm him down, and a mom willing to sleep on the floor with him. Hoping you can find a more comfortable cone for him and that the next couple of days go by fast for all of you.

| Aw what a sweet picture. It just really shows the bond dogs get with each other. Good Boy Pnut!! I’m sure it is hard on him seeing his bro like that!

| I know what you mean. I grew up with cats. It is amazing the bond you get with these lil guys.

| Ok, well I was going to say, cats don't give 2 craps about things like this, but I didn't want to offend!!! LOL. I grew up with them, too. Doggy love is new in my life and totally changed it and me! |

| For future reference, in case anyone has "cone" issues in the future, I just went and got the ProCollar inflatable collar - it's like an inflatable donut that goes around the neck. I think Linda had recommended something similar in the past. It's MUCH easier on Pickles than the soft cone. He kept ending up with the cone on the ground when he was standing up. Like he nodded out and couldn't pick his head back up again. Agggh. So much better now. Here's what these inflatable collars look like, in case anyone's interested. A small (6-10" neck) fit 6.5lb Pickles (9" neck) just fine! |

| Hey those are cool!! Thanks for letting us know. I’m so glad you found something so Pickles can be a little more comfortable.

The new inflatable collar is working out just great. Love it. Also, I'm SO happy to report that after a few very tough days, Pickles is starting to get his spunkiness back and actually used his right leg this morning!!! He's moving around a lot more, doing "toe tapping" with the right foot (tapping the ground - good sign) and he used the leg to balance himself when he went potty. Since he got his Fentanyl patch off last night, I'm really relieved about this, I was hoping his pain level would not get out of control. So, YAY!! | |

| Great News!! So happy for you and your baby. I've slept on the floor with one of mine before and am thinking about doing it again since my bed is way to high for Hannah. I love having her in bed with me but am so afraid that she will jump off. You are an Awesome Mom! Keep us posted on his progress...

| They ARE amazing! We had to put Pickles in his ex-pen tonight because he feels good enough to try and wrestle P-Nut for toys . He's getting better by leaps and bounds, even went down a step to the outside by himself and cruised the length of our backyard touching the operated leg to the ground frequently. |
