Gemy good idea about recording...didn't see that in time, I think I will do that from now on actually thanks!

Mia's liver, renal and cardio chems came back as fine, sonogram showed nothing at all in either area (this was done cuz ex insisted)...anyway, they did another urinalysis and of course it came back positive for a UTI which it didn't last time.

They are sending all the results to Cornell and see if they recommend anything else. For now she is taking antibiotics again for the UTI and having her blood rechecked in 6 weeks. I feel confident we are on the right track. Honestly this girl shows no signs of anything at all. I'm cautiously optimistic, as always.

Thank you all for your support!!!! I will update again after next blood test.

Good to hear the major stuff is coming back good. Can the elevated white blood cell count be explained by the UTI? I'm so happy Mia2 has you there for her.

Praying all continues to go well for Mia2, Lynzy. I think you are on the right path, also. Oh, and that is a great idea about recording!

Lynzy... I am sooooo glad it may be "just" a uti... I pray that the med clear it up FAST!!

Glad everything they checked showed fine. Sorry about the uti thought but I am very happy that is all they found!

She did have a urinalysis last time but it was negative...this time for sure. I will tell you this was the longest few days, amazing how much this takes out of you ya know? I will be glad when we hear back from Cornell I'm sure its fine but ex insisted and I'm glad he did! He's such a good guy

Did they get the urine by cysto? I would definitely want a culture done to be sure she is on the right antibiotic.

The urine they took showed positive for UTI, then did the other, do you know how long it takes? Ex said they said a week and I don't think it takes that long???

Linda if the urinalysis showed positive why did they want to do a cysto? I understand why they want to do a cysto but why couldn't they use the sample they got the regular way? (Obviously I'm refusing to look on line) but just curious what the difference between the urinalysis and the "culture"??

So glad everything came back with good results. Though I bate she has a UTI. Poor girl. But still, you have to be so relieved.
