She is doing much better today. The only problem now is she is officially 100% blind at 3 years old. She is adapting very well considering she was slightly blind in one eye since birth. She is active and eating. She doesn't want to play but I can understand. Thank God!!!

What does the vet say is the cause of her blindness ? You have not said. And has she seen an eye specialist ? Dogs do NOT just go blind for no reason. There is a SERIOUS issue going on with your pup & YOU are her voice & caregiver, it is your responsibility to get her the medical attention she needs, when she needs it & that time is Now.

The vet told us three weeks ago she had SARDS. She was able to see somewhat until yesterday.

I don't understand what is going on with your pup but I have grave concerns about her well being. You described something horrible and now today she is fine? Your story also changed about the blindness. I am going to pray that you find a way to properly vet her if you have not already. If she has not been to an opthamologist and/or had a medical workup to find out the real cause of her blindness then you quite frankly are letting her down.

Ok, so your vet says she has SARDS ? not sure I am going to agree with this diagnosis & the reason being is that the 2 conditions I mentioned can also cause blindness BUT blindness & the process of going blind does NOT cause a drunken walk OR drooling. There is deff an underlying SERIOUS condition that has yet to be PROPERLY diagnosed. I will be Praying for your baby, that she gets a proper diagnosis & treatment for her obvious health condition BEFORE it kills her. I have been rescuing dogs for MANY yrs, most of them seniors & NONE of them has had any of the symptoms you have described when they lost their sight AND I was a vet tech for many yrs & at no time should a dog have drunken walking OR drooling from vision loss UNLESS the vision loss is due to an underlying Neurological condition. I know there are a few other techs on YT AND a vet student that would agree with me on this.

| OP trust us on this...your pup needs to be thoroughly vetted. Just the fact that you suddenly remembered this diagnosis and yet you had NO blood work (which would be bare minimum diagnostics) done concerns me. Read this and think about the fact that nothing has been done in terms of vetting: Eye Vet - Zigler Veterinary Professional Corporation

You NEED to see a specialist NOT a regular vet .
