Ok, so your vet says she has SARDS ? not sure I am going to agree with this diagnosis & the reason being is that the 2 conditions I mentioned can also cause blindness BUT blindness & the process of going blind does NOT cause a drunken walk OR drooling. There is deff an underlying SERIOUS condition that has yet to be PROPERLY diagnosed. I will be Praying for your baby, that she gets a proper diagnosis & treatment for her obvious health condition BEFORE it kills her.
I have been rescuing dogs for MANY yrs, most of them seniors & NONE of them has had any of the symptoms you have described when they lost their sight AND I was a vet tech for many yrs & at no time should a dog have drunken walking OR drooling from vision loss UNLESS the vision loss is due to an underlying Neurological condition. I know there are a few other techs on YT AND a vet student that would agree with me on this.
