| Tink So sorry Shawn. You must be devastated and broken hearted. As many of us know, the pain of the loss of our pets is so hard to bear. Deepest condolences, dear Tink is free of suffering now. I feel for you and know that many tears will be shed. Hugs. RIP beloved Tink. |

When I lost my Duffy due to an illness I was so devastated and wrung out that I said no more dogs my heart can't take it and I threw most of his stuff away, fast foreword a few months and I realized how much I missed the pitter patter of four little paws and his little face when I got home, so I started looking again. My mom said why do you do this to yourself, you know that someday you will have heart ache again. Well I thought about it and realized that while the heart ache was awful thinking about what it would have been like without Duffy in my life would have been worse. So that's when I decided living life with a dog outweighs worrying about what will eventually happen. Every one of us heals differently some of us on YT have waited a year before getting a new dog, some only a few weeks. Give your self time to grieve and your heart will tell you what is best for you in the future. In the meantime we are here to support you in your time of need.

| Donna is so right in her words! When/if the time is right and you find another yorkie in your life, I think you will find that, although all yorkies seem to have some of the same traits they also are very different. Ive had three different yorkies, all females and what a person who doesn't "know" yorkies would say had the same yorkie coloring. But oh so different...sizes, personalities, diff shades of tan and blue...the reasons I love Lola are different then the reasons I love Ruby which are different then why I love Rosie..each one's personalities and quirks make them them. Sometimes I do think of Lola when I look at Ruby and Rosie but its more often those memories that make me smile and laugh then cry.

| So sorry for your loss. Guiding a loved one to the bridge is a heartbreaking journey. I agree with others. Give yourself time to grieve, and let your heart tell you when you are ready to love another little one. It took me 4 years after I lost my Tiny to even think about another dog. And when I did, I grieved her all over again. She will always be in my heart as my first baby. I've just discovered that there's still plenty of room in there. |

YT 2000 Club Member | Prayers surround you as you grieve for your precious Yorkie. You did the right thing. You did not let little Tinker suffer the pain of the kidney failure. I had to send my Teddy Peanut to the rainbow bridge last Dec. It hurt my heart to see him leave my arms. I now have JoJo but he will never replace my Ted. Little Tinkertot had the best care and is with my Teddy in the beautiful place all sweet Yorkies go! Someday I pray our doggies will greet us at that unimaginable place called heaven. |
