				 | my thoughts are with you in such a difficult time, you did so much more than most people would. If you did not let her live out this week, you would have never have closure because of the unknown. But now some times peace without suffering is the best option. Prayers for all of you on such a difficult day.

				 | Thank you, I wanted to give her a chance and I feel that I have done so. To continue to try to help her would put her through much more. I think it is in her best interest to let her go to rainbow bridge and be at peace. This breaks my heart to have to do this but I do not see that I have the resources to be able to do all that this baby needs. I did what I could do. |

				 | Turning her over to a rescue I would love to turn her over to anyone that would help her. I do not know of any rescues close enough that would take her knowing that she most likely has a liver shunt. If anyone knows anyone that would be willing to take her on let me know asap. I promised the vet I would call him back this morning. I need a plan in place and I do not have one now. She is a purebred yorkie and very cute to look at. Small, nice nose, pretty yorkie eyes, little ears. I just do not have the resources available that this puppy needs. |

				 | I would hold off on giving the vet an answer. I really feel this pup would have a rescue take her. She is very young and adoptable if she gets the care she needs. Plus stories like this pull on the heartstrings of rescuers

				 | Yorkie rescue I tried writing The Petite Paws rescue days ago and have never received a reply. I tried calling them this morning and their voice mail will not allow me to leave a message. I just emailed and texted a local rescue called Dog Dig it, but no reply. It has been my experience that it takes days to get a reply and I do not have days left. My vet told me he has given up on her now and it is beyond his care that she would need to go to Purdue in Lafayette now. |

				 | I am trying to stretch the out the phone call this morning but need help to take this any further at this point. My vet could probably stabilize her the next few days but she needs delicate nursing and to get to Purdue asap. I need some kind of commitment from a rescue but they will not return my call fast enough. |

				 | Rescue I just heard back from Dog Dig It here locally but they do not get donations so she said they cannot afford to take her on. They support their rescue by their own paychecks. I totally understand that. There's just no money to help this baby. I am going to call the vet and have them send her to Rainbow Bridge. It's the best thing to do for her. It's sad but I did try to help her and gave her another chance. It's just that she needs more than I can do. This is so difficult, please keep her in your prayers and thank you for your support. At least she will not suffer anymore. |

				 | The vet said that she is doing a bit better which does indicate a shunt. They are sending her to Rainbow Bridge. R.I.P little Hope. I love you even though I never had a chance to know you. |
