| I think if she is acting under the weather in addition to the running nose, I would definitely see the vet.

Now if she's showing signs of a runny nose which can lead to pneumonia, the antibiotics she was on are probably the wrong type for her respiratory problem. Best thing to do would be to let the vet see her and test to be sure the UTI is cleared up, and maybe do a Culture and Sensitivity which goes to the lab. Then they can tell exactly which antibiotic will help clear up the runny nose. Some strains of Corona virus (the strains there are no vaccines against) can cause a horrible runny nose. My dog ended up with pneumonia and he saw the vet before his symptoms got too bad. He almost did not pull through. How old is your pup?

| Dora is 2, we are going to see the vet tomorrow, I only had a little bit of medicine just to get her thru tonite. She ate and her nose is not running anymore. |

Hoping she gets a good report from the vet tomorrow. Younger and older pets have weaker immune systems, 'cold' symptoms should never be ignored. My dog's 'cold' developed into pneumonia in 3 days! On the 4th day, his fever shot up to 105+, we went to the closest vet I could find, he was nebulized with two different antibiotics (put in a special cage and the meds were made into an inhalant form where he breathed them directly into his lungs) and sent home on a third AB. It was a very nasty bug and he had to take oral antibiotics 2X daily for 30 days and have an xray to make sure it was all cleared up. On really bad days, I had to steam up the bathroom and sit in there with him to try to break up the gunk in his lungs. He did recover... he'll be 16 years old in December! Good luck to your baby tomorrow. Let us know how she is...

| Dora had an allergic reaction to a Frog. She pinned down a frog a couple of days ago in the yard with her nose and the frog had some kinda of protective stuff to defend himself from predator's attacks and that made Dora sick. She is fine now, and the Vet say to keep her away from frogs. |
