| Hi guys, Buddy is still on low protein diet but we have gradually reintroduced food high in protein - vet recommended this until after he has had his bloods retested. Buddy will be getting his Bile Acid Test on Friday where I hope he will get good results again. will keep ye all posted xxx

| Hi everyone, Sorry i havent been on this in so long! Just popping in to say hi and to let you know Buddy is doing really really well. He was a year old on 4th April. We had Bile acid tests done recently and he scored 17 which my vet was really happy with. Vet said he doesnt need to see us again for another six months! Buddy still on lactulose, liver supplement and hepatic food but he is now eating other foods with these which he loves. Xxxxxxx

| Want to share with you that my best friends yorkie had the same thing. Changed his diet as recommended by the vet to science diet. This caused stunted growth, so the puppy did not grow anymore. Now she's a completely healthy little adult. Just wanted to tell you in case you noticed this in the future, |

| I have a 7 month year old yorkie who's name is Petey. He was suppose to get neutered today, but the vet just called and said they can not as his ALT levels are 133. I am so worried and not sure what to do now. The receptionist was throwing all of these medical terms at me. I am in total shock as I thought he was completely healthy puppy |

| Tummy Bug Hi everyone, i have not posted on this for a while now. Buddy has been doing really really well since i last posted. However, last night he spent the whole night vomiting and had diahorrea, it was awful the poor little pet was so sick. i sat up with him all night. He was still vomiting this morning and was refusing water so I knew he needed vet. As vet was closed we went to an emergency vet and she said he just had a really bad tummy bug and because he is so small his little body was just finding it hard to fight it. She has kept him in overnight and he is on a drip and is getting fluids. She was going to let him home this evening but she broke my heart when she said he was still looking ill and was going to keep him overnight. Im lost without him, so upsetting to see my little baby so sick

| Oh, Dee, I am so sorry Buddy is not feeling well. It is good that you got him to the vet quickly...hopefully he will be feeling better after fluids and meds. I know how it feels to leave them in a hospital. Will keep your precious boy in my thoughts and prayers. Hope he is much better tomorrow.

| We are on the other side of the Liver issues at this point...Elliott is 5 and was recently found to have MVD. He is doing very well on his special food, but it was a long scary road...if you ever need any info, I am by no means any kind of expert just a mom who has been there |

| Food for Buddy???! Hi everyone, just a quick question, what other foods can i give my little guy besides his hepatic food? Whenever we cook dinner (any type of meat) he sits with his little face looking at the oven with a cute little face expecting something for him, I give him chicken but would like to change it around. Is there any other meat ye could reccommend? He is 12 months after his surgery and is off all medication and is just on hepatic and is doing great Thanks in advance
