Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | If anyone wants to continue the snarky comments toward certain members - we will promptly disable your access to this section for ONE WEEK, if not permanently. Do y'all really think those snarky comments are FUNNY? And respectful? And productive? And NOT mean and rude and poking fun at what someone shared earlier, out of their GOOD intentions? Does it feel good to treat people like that? Does it feel good to attempt to put people down with snarky, imperious comments? I'm seriously asking here - bc I want to understand the END GOAL of these comments - I really want to understand the intention behind them, once and for all. What could ANYone possibly gain by poking fun and making snarky comments about another HUMAN BEING??? Because if you ARE a person who feels good about that, then YT is not a good fit for you, got it? Do we need examples of inappropriate things people are posting bc seriously -- we *could* start a thread discussing what is rude and snarky if people really do not get it. And I'm not being snarky there, btw; I'm seriously concerned that people don't understand what is inappropriate treatment of others (and I DON'T mean only on this thread, this happens in all sections). Bottom line is this: either knock it off now, or your access will be removed from this section - and/or you'll be suspended or banned. This applies to all members, in all sections, to be clear. Some of the comments on this thread are downright embarrassing. I can't fathom what goes on inside some people for them to act as they do toward others .

Ann, thank you for clearing the air and restating the YT Forum Rules. You are definately NOT a dork - you are one of the smartest and most respected members here. That ADMIN respects and trusts your opinions enough to make you a Moderator speaks volumes. Please keep up the good work and continue to simply restate the rules in threads where differences of opinions become heated. Most of the situations discussed here (even the emergencies) have a multitude of "correct" ways being handled. Everytime someone has a good resulotion to a problem - then their way becomes correct for them. It doesn't mean that the same emergency handled by another member by another method is right or wrong - it simply means that what works for one situation may or may not work for another. And to the OP -- I am so very glad to hear that your little one is doing well. Sounds like you are a fantastic yorkie mommy! | |

| I am not going to read all the posts here, I can see by the high count etc., that this is a hot topic, I read OP's post... If I thought for even a minute that my dog or my child or any person dependent on me for their care ate glass....EMERGENCY. My Miss Mia ate eggshells...God help me, anyways... it turned into an emergency situation rather quickly...I can't imagine what glass would do... I'm sorry, but common sense should prevail in situations like this. I hope everything worked out and your pup is ok, please don't take my post the wrong way, it took me some very scary experiences to gather the knowledge I now have...there are certain things I just don't gamble with now...I've lost and learned...

| Just wanted to thank you Ann for once again putting us straight. Its a shame you have to do that with us since I think we are all grown ups. But we all need a little chastisement at times myself included. To the Op I am so glad you puppy is doing well. I think all here would tell you to seek your vets advice first even before using any of the advice we might give you here. God bless you and yours.
