| ![]() I just picked Izzie up after a week and a week and half at my moms. She came home and was really tired. I thought it was from playing with there dog when she came home she was scratching her butt on the floor in a circle. She has done in the past. The vet checked her out she was fine My hubby took her out to walk tonight she went poop like normal then it changed to a tarry then watery bloody poop. Shee has been eating fine. Then she sema to have some butt discomfort. I called the after hours vet She said keep an call her if she got worse. Then she vomited up dinner. I am really worked. Has anyone else had this happen?

| ![]() I have been told that if the blood is dark then it is from farther up the intestines, and if it is bright red it is lower in the intestines. She has both, maybe she has been trying to hold in her poop and the red blood dried up? I would also be very concerned that she also threw up. Could be plenty of things. You really need to get her to the vet. Uni had this before and it turned out to be pancreatitis, but these symptoms can be from many things. Make sure she drinks water. She sounds very dehydrated. Force her to even if she doesn't want any. If they are lethargic usually they won't even want water. But with diarrhea and vomiting, she must be dehydrated.

| ![]() Izzie got up this morning. She was perky and happy. No more blood. No more vomiting. No more dry nose. She is eating and drinking. I called the vet back after I discovered when she was with grandparents. She had some food eith corn in it. She is gluten intolerant. I did not know she was allergic to corn products. I looked at her reg food and it is gluten and corn free. Scared me to death
