| ![]() OH thank goodness Mia is doing better ![]() The vet is right about taking it easy on her tummy with food. You'll be able to feed her more as the days go by, but after her digestive system getting such a shock, it needs time to get going properly again. They all seem to love the plain chicken baby food, or some plain white rice with minced boiled chicken in it. Ask your vet, though, before you give her anything different. Continued prayers for Mia's full recovery ![]()

| ![]() Chicken baby food is bland and very good for recouperating pups. As long as she's eating and drinking and eliminating, sleep is okay... she's still recovering/healing. She'll transition back to regular food in time. Maybe ask your vet about some Hill's Prescription A/D food. Make sure she's warm enough. Nothing against your vet... but any chance of getting a second opinion? Where I worked, when pups were discharged from the hospital, they were eating, drinking and bouncing off the walls. There was never any doubt that they were better... just worried for your baby....
