Chicken baby food is bland and very good for recouperating pups. As long as she's eating and drinking and eliminating, sleep is okay... she's still recovering/healing. She'll transition back to regular food in time. Maybe ask your vet about some Hill's Prescription A/D food. Make sure she's warm enough.

Nothing against your vet... but any chance of getting a second opinion? Where I worked, when pups were discharged from the hospital, they were eating, drinking and bouncing off the walls. There was never any doubt that they were better... just worried for your baby....
