| Thank you all for your good wishes. Zoey slept until 3:15 am - the Benadryl knocked her out. She ate this morning like usual (didn't eat last night) and is doing much better. She is walking on the foot very gingerly. Poor thing. The way she screamed was terrible. I will be very watchful after this. Cherie

| I wondered where she was stung. On the foot! Oucheeeee! It's hard to see them in the grass. I hope she is all better soon.

YT 1000 Club Member | Cherie, You'd probably pull your hair out, seeing where I take my two almost daily. We go down along the Bayou, and they jump in, catch and eat Frogs and Snakes, and demand (almost) daily trips. Becca is the worst of the two, anything that moves she tries to catch and bite, but never has given any notice of a sting...so far. Given my experience with how intuitive our Yorkies are, I'd bet that your little one won't ever be stung again. They learn quick, remember what to listen and look for, so I don't think you need to worry about a re-occurrence, and instances like that are certainly not your fault. Let your little one out in the grass/rough as much as it wants. Remember, we have Varminteers, little Hunters, and they love to sniff things out.

| Down in the bayou? Aren't there gators in the water? Where we walk to the dog park there is a cement path or you can cut across the little league grass field which is full of clover. Bees are all over the clover all the time. She stepped on one and the stinger went into the bottom of her pad between two pads. The vet said he had a rough time finding it. She is back to her naughty self this afternoon. So glad this is over.

| I am so terried of bees. I'm glad Zoey is home and on her way to recovery. I'm so sorry this happened to her. This is one of my worse nightmares.
