You'd probably pull your hair out, seeing where I take my two almost daily. We go down along the Bayou, and they jump in, catch and eat Frogs and Snakes, and demand (almost) daily trips. Becca is the worst of the two, anything that moves she tries to catch and bite, but never has given any notice of a sting...so far.

Given my experience with how intuitive our Yorkies are, I'd bet that your little one won't ever be stung again. They learn quick, remember what to listen and look for, so I don't think you need to worry about a re-occurrence, and instances like that are certainly not your fault.

Let your little one out in the grass/rough as much as it wants. Remember, we have Varminteers, little Hunters, and they love to sniff things out.
