| I know this is an old thread but my sweet Lexie is displaying the exact same symptoms. When i came home lastnight she was like this, and was perfectly fine, happy and energetic before i left. Now she yelped when picked up, won't come when called, just wants to sit around and not play which is not like her at all. I touched her all over to check for the pain but i don't know where it's coming from. I'll be taking her to the vet but i'm so worried, the only thing she has ever had is an ear infection, she's been very healthy and energetic all her life. She turns 6 in a few days, my poor baby what's happened Last edited by candigirl; 09-19-2016 at 04:58 AM. |

| Candi, I'm sure it could be many things, but trust your instincts. I'm bringing Maggie home today from her back surgery for a herniated disc. She started acting weird, not wanting to do anything. She was clingy and shaking. A few years ago she had back pain and she actually hid, 2 days later she was fine. This time she just wanted to be with me, but not held. You can read my thread, but my point is when they act weird I think it is pain. Keep a close eye and find out where the best 24 hr vet is in case she takes a turn for the worse. Often back injuries can be relieved with rest and meds, sometimes not. I'm so glad I didn't give the meds more time to work and got another opinion. I don't know anything about the neck condition some have mentioned. Good luck! |
