| Not my yorkie but my chihuahua... She is very sick...I really don't know what is going with her. She has been at the vet since early this morning, she has been vommitting blood and have explosive bloody dirrahea since lat last night. One thing that really confused me is that instead of running a fever her trmp was really low and the vet had to put her on a heating pad. Does any one have any ideas what this could be? Or what causes a low temp? |

| Yeah, she is at the vet's office now...but they haven't really told me much other than her temp was low and they are giving her iv fluids and some anitbiotics. So I am a nervous wreck because I have no idea how she is doing at this point or what is going on. They told me that I will have to wait until the vet is ready to call me to find out more info. |

| They said that the vet will determine if they are going to keep her after he has observed her for most of the day! this is heart breaking and nerve wracking! |

| You dropped her off and your vet has not said anything at all about what he thinks it is? If he is treating her, surely he has an idea. He did lab work I am assuming? I would want to know what the presumptive diagnosis is.

| My nieces Yorkie had a similar episode and they diagnosed it as anxiety. He now takes anxiety meds and is as healthy as can be otherwise. Please keep us posted. Prayers for you and your sweet girl.

| I didn't notice you dropped her off early morning. At this point I would demand to speak to someone about her. I agree with LJ. I think they should have some things ruled out with the blood work at this point.

| When I called them at lunch I was told that they could not tell me anything, and that I would need to speak with the doctor. So I called back after 1:30as they asked me to...and I still really did not get any info. Basically, I was told that her temp was really low and they are putting her on a heating pad, that they have given her an injection for the vommitting, and started her on some iv antibiotics. That is it that is all they have told me. When I asked what they thought it was I was told that the doctor will discuss Baya's case further with me when he calls me this afternoon. |
