| When I went to visit with Baya last night she was looking almost normal again. She still was not eating much, but she was wanting to be held and giving me lots of kisses and tail wags. The vet is very pleased with her progress. I went again this morning to see her and she is looking even better yet. Hopefully, all the lab work will come tomorrow and we will know what it was/is so that we will know if we need to change the antibiotics because right now she is just getting a broad spectrum. Most importantly, I hope she is able to come home tomorrow. The vet is almost a hour away from us and these visits are getting costly, not that I would do anything different I would just prefer her be able to come home. |

| I am so happy your little girl is doing well....I can only imagine the issues that distance from the vet is causing...add to that, in the case of an emergency, that is quitre a distance to cover to get her to her doctor! With THAT in mind, be sure she is absolutely ready to come home! |

| Actually, we got all the test results back and they were all negative so we really do not know what the heck was going on. I mentioned HGE to my vet and he said he was not exactly sure how to diagnose it because he has never seen a case of it before; however, Baya is now home and doing very well. I will have to take her back to the ver again tomorrow for another antibiotic shot, but that is okay I am just glad she is doing so well. Thank you all for your concern, thoughts, prayers, and kind words...I don't know what I would have done without them! |

| So glad you baby is home! Sometimes these things happen and they never really do know what it was. As long as she improved with the treatment, that is all that matters!
