Basically, I was told that her temp was really low and they are putting her on a heating pad, that they have given her an injection for the vommitting, and started her on some iv antibiotics. That is it that is all they have told me. When I asked what they thought it was I was told that the doctor will discuss Baya's case further with me when he calls me this afternoon.
You know, sometimes people who answer telephones do this. If it were my pup, I would insist on speaking with someone who knows what the vet thinks it is. Did a tech speak with you...or just the person who answered the phone? I would never be put off like that at my vet....that is ridiculous. Again, did they do lab work? Did he give you any idea this morning what it might be?
